You could build a good base on just four, maybe five basic lifts , compounds. Incline bench, rows/and or Deads, squats, presses for shoulders, and chins. With sheer "progressive overload.

The books can cause confusion, but there are many decent oldschool. Randall Strossen.

More current, anything by Dan John.
Used to read stuff by Stewart McRobert, very good but he touts " no gear"..! You could apply his principal's, "and" gear ,if you desire...?

Were a different, find your niche,. And what works for you.

Any book can fit the simple it all depends on you . How you apply . There is no special workout . Time and patience and you -3 ingredients needed

AVG does as well but disabling it temporarily did the trick. Have no trouble downloading on my Linux workstation however.

Lol. Better than Windows for me. My mom's Windows 10 laptop took a crap because of one of the wonderfully bad Windows updates on top of a rather unstable hard drive. AS I could not fix it had to replace the drive with a new SSD. Now my mom's happy with a speedy laptop.

A good reason to hate Windows with a passion...
