I hit the hard ones and I follow u. My biggest weakness is diet. I love killing it and I guess it's an ego thing cause I do all the stuff that makes me uncomfortable that no one wants to do.

I agree with u, though our old brain and muscles wanna be lazy if we let them and take easy way out!

My deal is I am 42, and don't wanna get any bigger really. At 5'8 I would like to cut to 6% and be 195-200 instead of 186-190.

But your 2cents means the world and is true. My life is so busy I can't put time I need to in gym so I gotta do alot in short time to fatigue muscle!!

I go back and forth to routines. I always been a high endurance guy and I usually do alot if kick boxing and Muey Thai.
When I get set up with AC in my dungeon again I will start that up again with strength training and muscle overall size training cause I need it when kick boxing to hold size but I get ripped and love the endurance training!

But u are 100% corect about following something that forces us to adapt!!
I got to get more gym time in.
Lately it seems like it takes me forever to even get out house in morning

Both of those programs should take 45 mins at most and they will make your muscles feel like they have been put threw a cheese grater if done correctly.

I am sure a lot can be done in that amount of time if the workout is structured right. Of course heavy lifting!
Sorry Bundy if we tore up.your thread but your freestyle training got us going!!! Lol

But any info shared at building muscle in our busy lives helps someone.

MW, the way I get it done in 35-45 minutes when that's all I got is I start will body part main or largest muscle
Chest for ex. Warm up work up to my 4 rep max weight, then drop enough to do 4 sets of 4-5 reps 1:30 rest between those
Then drop weight 2 sets pause rest 30 sec of 8-10 reps.

Move to incline do 4× 6-10
Superset pec deck flys 4×8-10
Superset abs weighted 4×15-20
Between each above I take 30sec
And walk back first position

Next 4×6-8 cable cross
Superset dips leaning forward (sometimes belt chain weighted) 4x10
Superset triceps 4× 10 push downs

This is one of 5 works per week I do hams and calves with bicep and triceps on 5th workout that is workout 1.
I change it up but that is example of my 45 minute at most grinder
